    Green Bike

Green Bikes are offically closed for the winter!  If you need to return a bike please bring it to the SRC or the ORC.

The WSU Green Bike program is a bike share system in place to decrease traffic congestion, limit carbon emissions and encourgage health and physical exercise. Bike Sharing is practiced all over the country in many different settings.

Currently, the WSU Green Bike program has 120 bikes in its fleet.  80 BIXI Green Bikes are available for 24 hours at a time and can be checked out at the CUB, SRC, Valley Road Playfields, and Grimes Playfields. Our 40 Trek Mt. Bikes are available to rent from the Outdoor Recreation Center (ORC) for up to seven days at a time.

Since the system launched, Green Bikes have been checked out 16,100 times and more than 5,650 unique users have checked out bikes! For more information about BIXI bikes and systems, visit their website www.bixisystems.com.
